Your adventure, your information
Privacy policy
Effective date: 25 October 2026.
Two Planks is a family adventure intended for players aged 9 and older, including older children, teenagers and adults. This policy explains information used by the game and how to contact its developer.
Developer: Oday Ashour. Privacy contact: [email protected].
This notice covers the game during development and testing, along with related support correspondence. The promotional website also has its own website privacy notice. Information practices will be reviewed and this notice updated before production advertising or real-money purchases are introduced.
Playing and saving your progress
The game does not currently require a separate Two Planks player account. Progress, stage records, earned coins, cosmetic ownership and equipment, preferences and tutorial state are saved on your device.
These saves also include local advertising-frequency and test-purchase state. The game does not currently upload these progress saves to a Two Planks server. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup, depending on its settings. An online progress-recovery service is not currently provided.
Advertising
Current development versions use either local advertising simulations or Google Mobile Ads test advertising. Production advertising is not active in these versions. Local advertising simulations do not request a Google ad.
When a test version uses Google's advertising software, that software can process an IP address, approximate location inferred from that address, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions and diagnostic or performance information. Google describes purposes including advertising, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. The exact processing depends on the platform, software version and privacy settings; a test ad or a non-personalized ad does not mean that no technical data is processed.
Google provides details in its Privacy Policy and advertising information.
The final production advertising and regional privacy-choice flow is still being prepared. This notice does not describe an in-game consent control that is already available.
Children and families
Children aged 9–12 are part of the intended audience. Parents or guardians can contact the developer with privacy questions or requests. Please avoid sending unnecessary information about a child in a support message.
The current Google test-ad integration requests child-restricted treatment, non-personalized advertising and G-rated advertising content. The game does not currently ask players to provide a birth date, email address or a Two Planks player-account profile. A support email is a separate, voluntary contact with the developer.
Live advertising will require the final age-appropriate privacy handling before it is enabled. Advertising-consent messages do not, by themselves, provide parental consent.
Optional purchases
Real-money purchases are not connected in the current development versions. Earned in-game coins and local purchase simulations do not charge a payment card or verify a real purchase.
Optional purchases are planned through the applicable Apple or Google store. Before those purchases become available, this policy will be updated to explain transaction, receipt and ownership information used by the final purchase-verification and restore system.
Contacting support
If you email the developer, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are used to reply and investigate your request. You do not need to send a password, verification code or full payment-card information to get support.
Support correspondence is handled by the developer and the services used to deliver and store email. It is used for support, privacy requests, troubleshooting and related security or legal needs.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can contact [email protected] to ask about information held in support correspondence and to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. A parent or guardian may contact the developer about a child's information.
Device settings control local app storage and operating-system backups. Clearing app data can remove progress; backup copies may be controlled separately by your device provider.
The developer cannot remotely erase progress that exists only in your device's local storage. There is no separate Two Planks player account to close in the current versions.
Retention
Local saves remain in app storage until replaced or removed through the app or device's storage lifecycle; operating-system backups are controlled separately. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the request and related security or legal obligations. You can ask the developer to delete support information, subject to any applicable retention requirements.
Information processed by Google or other service providers is also subject to their own retention practices and privacy information. Removing local progress does not automatically delete information already processed by those providers.
Service providers and security
Google provides the test advertising software described above. Cloudflare hosts the promotional website and forwards incoming domain email; the destination email provider stores and delivers support correspondence. Apple or Google may separately handle beta distribution and store-account information under their own privacy terms.
These providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy information explains their handling practices. The website uses HTTPS, and Google's advertising SDK documents encryption of its transmitted data. No system can promise absolute security.
Provider information: Google Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy, and Apple Privacy.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when the game's information practices change. Any new advertising, purchase or online feature must be reflected in the applicable policy and privacy choices before its introduction. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
